I was gifted two kits for Christmas having not attempted crochet before. I used the video to complete the kits which was very easy to understand. I was also able to change the height as wanted the mustard one as a small handbag and the blue one a little taller to hold shower gels. I used them as gifts and the recipients were really pleased with them. Looking to get a kit for me to keep.

The bag was easy but the instructions were not perfectly clear. O did have to rip the entire thing out and restart but once o understood better it was easy. The written instructions for adding the handle are not clear. The video was very helpful. The bag is adorable and I love it

Loved this! It took me a while and I made many a mistake but learnt a lot! The video tutorial was really helpful although some reference to the written instructions were also needed to account for the video being for medium and i had the large. I couldn't work out the instructions for attaching the handles so made it up! Had a lot of compliments too!
This is my second Crochet Park bag and I love it. I chose the large size and it is perfect. I have added lining, it wasn’t necessary I just like a fun lining. The colour is great too! I took a quick video as I think the stitches showed up the detail better. If you are considering buying a kit from Crochet Park, do it yourself won’t be sorry.

Very challenging but good learning
I bought the granny bag crochet kit and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. All the individual pieces were well presented in separate bags and the yarn was of great quality, with a subtle sheen. The paper instructions were confusing so I turned to the video tutorial. This was better but a little fast at the crucial points. I found it difficult to follow at first, but I’m an experienced crocheter so the pattern soon clicked with me. Once I was on a rhythm the pattern was really easy and took a fair few evening to complete the main part of the bag. Inserting the handle and finishing was very easy. This was a great project and I especially loved the fact that everything was included. Suggestions to improve would be a better hook as the silicone handle kept sliding off. Also to slow down the crucial bits of the pattern on the video. I would recommend this company though. I’m delighted with my bag and will more than likely purchase another kit.
