I have crocheted before but I’ll admit that the “yarn”was a slippery and a little harder to work with than normal yarn. But once I got in a rhythm it went smoothly. I added a fabric lining that I made for a little more structure and more importantly to keep it clean. It’s fun to say: “I made it!”

I really enjoyed this project. It was very easy. I did it a week after major surgery. I bought it to have something to do while I recovered. The funny thing is, I made two pouches and a phone pocket for the interior with the leftover. Except it took me an additional three days. I got your email with instructions to make pouches the day I finished.

Really easy to do with YouTube tutorials. Took a lot longer that 6-8 hours, but not used to working with quite firm yarn. Enjoyed the whole process and the finished result was great!
A well produced video tutorial provided directions that were clear and easy to follow. The written pattern was more confusing. The 6-8 hours to complete the bag is a huge underestimate. I am not a beginner and it took more than 20 hours. The included crochet hook was ineffective. Fortunately I had a Clover 3mm hook which made the crocheting much easier. I think a crochet beginner would find this a difficult first project. However, the final piece was beautiful and well worth the work. I'll be adding a lining to my bag and think that should be included in the kit.
The video idea is a fantastic idea. I've never made a bag, and definitely not used these materials before. At the beginning I thought I wouldn't be able to do it - felt very stiff to get hook through! However, your instructions stated 'dense' so I stuck to it. Not many rows left to do then its adding finishing touches. Slow n steady for me.
Finished it! My arthritic thumb is complaining but the sense of achievement is wow!

I had so much fun making this purse! I am a very beginning crocheter, but the tutorials were excellent and very easy to follow. I am thrilled with how it came out and plan to take it with me on a birthday cruise my husband and I are going on in August.
Beautiful bag. Having the video is so helpful. It is in American crochet terms but don't let that put you off as its all explained brilliantly. Relatively easy to do. The first 3 rows are the time consumers. But we'll worth the perseverance. Would recommend to beginners with patience 🥰
Love the finished bag, however a few things to note when making it. Firstly make sure nothing to make your stitches for the base too tight, if you do, it is hard to crochet the first row by going through the back of the first stitches you do. Secondly, the thread for sewing on the clap is very fine and can be tricky to use when sewing, especially if you have issues seeing or feeling the thread. Time and patience is the key to sewing the clasp. Finally, I feel the bag would feel more secure when using with more magnetic clasps, maybe a total of 3, one each side and one in the middle. All in all a lovely bag which I would definitely do again.
Not quite finished yet, but I do love the way it is coming together. Looking forward to completing it.

I am slowly working may way through making this bag. It’s taking a lot longer than I thought but I am very happy with the kit! The flat cord twists and makes it more difficult but the bag is going to look exactly like pictured online.

I loved making the bag. It was some tight crocheting with the material similar to shoelace and I couldn't crochet for too long in a day. But I do really love the end product, it's worth it for having a beautiful handmade bag which seems to be good quality and sturdy too.
