I preferred the look of the bag shown on the QR card in the box and based mine on that look. I have not lined the bag yet and may keep it unlined to use as a bread or other food bag. The video was very helpful in showing how to create a three strand yarn and for attaching the handles.
Loved working with raffia but found that this bag took a bit longer to complete than expected because of the single crochet stitch. I went a bit random with the stripes and my joins of the rounds could have been better but this was down to me not following instructions carefully enough. That said I love the finished bag and have had lots of compliments. Thank you. Looking forward to another project using raffia soon
I loved doing this one. Def my favourite by far. I didn't like the lines created by the end of each row so undid and completed it again just going round and round. Did different design with colours.
It took me a while to make but the result is Great! I would give 10 stars if there is one!
Love making these bags. It has everything you need.
The bag is beautiful, and the directions are very clear And single crochet is a very simple stitch. The problem Was turning the ball of raffia into three strands. The Raffia kept splitting so it felt like 10 strands. Why provide such thin raffia, when it comes in so many thicknesses. It just adds such a challenge to the project.The hook was so small that I had to redo every few single stitches I am not a quitter. I kept trying. I’ve had this for two weeks and I keep on taking a break and coming back to it, but I have given up I will buy some larger size raffia Or macramé cord and complete the bag. This was my second bag, and I must say I was terribly disappointed. I am proud of the girl in the video. She did make it look so easy that i wanted to keep going, but the frustration is too much. I really think people should be aware that the difficulty does not come with single crochet in the building of the bag. It’s using that very fine Raffia.
Still finishing this project. I love how it’s looking but, I feel it’s a bit of a pain to keep stopping to make the threads into three strands every few stitches . It stops the flow of the project. I’m looking forward to seeing my finished bag.

Improve the yarn. Why would you use this type of yarn? And make it extra hard to work with. It’s such a large project to be adjusting yarn. I was so upset. I asked to exchange to something else. They kept saying it’s easy just look at the video. I brought a few kits. I loved but the customer service is about keeping that money not helping.

The kitchen looks great, all packed well. YouTube video was confusing on the tripling of the cord. It said to triple it as much as you need, but I don't know how much I will need. And why did it not come tripled already?

I purchased the kit to make for a gift, which I haven't started as of yet. The kit has everything you need with complete easy directions to follow. I am currently working on a different kit , so I can say that the directions are easy to follow. This particular bag that I am working on is turning out beautifully. I am very happy with this company and the kits are all quality.
While I am enjoying this project, it is definitely slow going and working with 3 strands of yarn is more challenging than I expected! You are working with 3 strands of ribbon-like yarn, and they split very easily so I keep getting little pieces sticking out. The videos are good, but the written directions are not - DO NOT LOSE THE CARD WITH THE VIDEO CODE!!! I took a picture of the code just in case...if you lose the code, you are stuck with project materials and no way to figure out how to assemble them. I don't know that I would recommend this project for a total beginner and the time estimate is waay off...this will take longer than the website anticipated to put together!

This is a gift for a birthday in January so can’t comment on the contents of the box but it arrived quickly and was well packaged.
Wow! I was skeptical, but this kit was fantastic! The tutorial videos were the key to success for this beginner. A couple people have asked where I "bought" my bag and were surprised when I told them, with pride, that I made it. I am just trying to decide which project to complete next.
