Loved making this bag. Wool was lovely to use. I’m not great at sewing but did the lining by hand and it worked out okay.
I ordered the medium kit and had enough yarn to make an additional small bag. These will be presents for my two young nieces so I changed the colour order and handle size to suit them. I had enough lining for both bags from the kit. I used the magnetic closing button from a previous tote bag so both bags have this feature now. I really enjoyed making these and the videos were very helpful as usual .
Love it!! I'm a total beginner with crochet, but the videos were so good and beginner friendly, I didn't have any trouble getting started. It did take a really long time to finish because there's quite a bit of sewing in the end for the straps and lining, so please keep that in mind! I'd love to do more projects but I don't need more bags... I'd love if they had more of other things! Maybe I can try a blanket next, but I'd love to learn how to make plushies or clothing items too.

This is the first bag I have made which is lined. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get the lining to fit correctly but it worked out well.
I have very limited experience with crocheting but the instructional videos are excellent. I was able to complete my bag within 3 nights of relaxing effort. I would recommend these kits as a very rewarding and relaxing experience.

I loved making this bag. It was great to make progress so quickly. It would have been helpful to have the instructions on joining yarns earlier as the blue yarn had several joins in it!

I ordered this kit for my granddaughter who loves to crochet. I was actually in awe of the packaging and the quality of the products that came with. The colors and design were exquisite. I have a few projects. I have to get done myself crocheting and when I do, then I get to order myself a kit.

Just what I ordered, plan on making one for each of my 3 pregnant grand daughters, using diffrent colored cotton yarn and baby afghans to match.
A bit hard to start off with the base but soon got the hang of it.

It was more flimsy than I had expected and there was only one sheet of lining in that kit which wouldn’t cover the inside of my purse.
