After making 3 Aveline bags which I loved, I thought I'd give this one a try. I did not like the sparkle element in the yarn which was not evident in the description or photo. The crocheting itself was simple, but the lining was a clumsy process and the written directions did not match the video directions in a key area. The video direction is the correct one. The access to the 4 videos needed for this bag was also weird, with directions for other projects showing up and no direct link to YouTube. Overall, I would not recommend this bag to a beginner and it should be explained in the directions that some of the lining process could be done using a sewing machine.
I am very pleased with this bag. It is a really useful size not too big or small. The instructions were easy to follow. The videos were mixed up with the sea breeze bag but I was able to find the right one when needed. As always I found the lining a struggle but eventually got it right. I am now moving on to the delft cushions in slower time.

This yarn is so nice to work with and the colour is so pretty. The only thing I don't like is sewing by hand, so I used my friend's sewing machine for the lining. It doesn't look good if I sew it by hand. But I am very happy with the result.
The bag is a fun challenge, and the end result is cute. I had to improvise the center part, because I found the instructions incomprehensible, and wasn’t able to see a tutorial. The yarn is very easy to work with. There was a piece of metal in the kit that I have no idea what it is, but I guess it doesn’t matter.
I loved making this bag. I have started my second one and just received a third. The kit has everything needed and is of a good quality. I’ve had lots of compliments.
The kit looks lovely, I haven't made it yet.
I have to start over and watch the tutorial more closely.
