I have just completed the Blue Large Garden Bee Bag which has been really fun to do. I am recovering from a Spinal surgery operation so lots of bed rest. This project was ideal as I could do it sat up in bed. I was looking forward to doing the cream medium bag but at the moment it is sold out.

The kit came in a sturdy box and everything was packed well inside. There were written instructions complimented by crochet along video access on their website. I learned new techniques and enjoyed every second. So much so, I did a second bag and am now planning a third from crochetpark again. The bags are quality in material and I can see they will be hard wearing whilst still being beautiful. I can't wait for my next one!! This is my 2nd bag, made it in the blue before, instructions are excellent and very clear, when I took it in to work, I got so many compliments and requests, it was unbelievable! Need to try something new now.

I am pleased with my bag. It’s not perfect and it is a lot of work even for an experienced crocheter. For the mesh board I ordered additional lining fabric and covered both sides of each piece - not easy - but having tried the cross stitch I decided that was too much. I am grateful to others for suggesting fitting the handles before attaching the top zip part - definitely easier. As usual the tutorial videos are invaluable - thank you.

Absolutely brilliant! This is the 3rd bag I’ve made! Loved every minute . Will be making another for a friend . All three kits came very quickly. In my opinion all quality . Tutorials were spot on. I am a complete beginner and it made it so very easy .
Just completed the medium size Garden Bee bag. I got the kit for Xmas and have enjoyed the experience immensely, though it did take me longer than instructions intimate as life gets in the way! I loved the video tutorial instructions and found them vital at times. There’s a lot more sewing than I expected but still enjoyable. Look forward to making another style in the near future ☺️
I've made 2 of these bags, black and cream. Everyone asks where i bought them, very elegant. I found it hard to make, however, they are very pretty. Will buy other patterns.
this is the first stage of my garden bag completed. I am so excited to continue with this project. The videos showing how to do this are very clear. As a bigginer I am happy to continue, next stage soon.
Love my bag took a lot longer than I thought it would, Handles are the hardest bit but well worth the effort I didn’t like the white plastic bits that you could see when finished so I lined the bag again with black material so no plastic can be seen. I personally think black rings and black boards would have been better , but still love it .
Really enjoyed making this bag I made the handles longer as I wanted to be able to put over my shoulder, and found some 7mm silicone soft piping to reinforce it which fits perfectly into the brass fittings
I loved making this bag. The result is fantastic and has been admired by lots of friends. It looks complicated but with the help of the videos, is very easy. I only started crochet in January and started the bag in March. One point to mention - the instruction leaflet says do the rim of the bag with the 2.0 hook but the video says 3.0. I tried to start with the 3.0 hook but found the stitches too tight so did it with the 2.0 hook.

Made modifications. Ordered black large bag, but the white mesh showed through. Ended up making a black outer liner between the mesh and the rings. Lining fabric was gray and didn’t like the fabric. Replaced it with a gold and black fabric that was heavier. Would suggest using black rings & mesh for darker colors.
The kit was extremely well packaged and very well presented. I am taking my time with it and thoroughly enjoying the whole process. I will probably buy another kit when I have completed this one! Yes I know that technically it is ‘inside out’, but I actually preferred the ‘wrong’ side!
This was very challenging for me because I've only done cross stitching but I really wanted to learn how to crochet so I stumbled across this kit which came well packed and had all the stuff what was needed . This project was calming at times and I made a few mistakes along the way which I corrected over time it took longer then I thought because the tutorial videos had me confused some parts could have been more simplified but I'm happy I finally finished it's not perfect but it will do .I'm thankful that I've learned a new skill
Was a bit harder than you made it out to be It took me 5 weeks
At first it was tricky to get the hands and the technique right. i felt it was going very slow . kept pausing and resuming it. but once i could see the bag taking shape i had unlocked a new skill that i never knew. and was able to make a cute pink bag too (using the leftover rings). now my friends and family can stop demanding for more bags. It helps passed my time for when i was bored or while watching my shows.
Loved making it but could see the plastic through the rings. I covered the plastic with some additional green thread and then went over the top with the cord provided in the kit . You could make the plastic the same colour as the yarns, make life easier
I crocheted this bag as a gift for my best friend. It took me a few weeks to finish, but I loved every moment of making it. The tutorial was clear and easy to understand. Seeing how much my friend loves the bag makes the whole effort feel even more special.
I should have gone through the reviews first, especially the one that said it is not for beginners. Indeed it is not. But when it is done, it is such an amazing feeling ✨️. I am contemplating doing another one!
This is the third one I have made. I did change things up a bit. As you can see, I used a needle and a herringbone pattern on the grids instead of crocheting them. It was easier on my arthritic hands. Also I used the lining instructions from the Cleo Tote using the measuring the garden bee bag for the pattern. It worked great. One more suggestion would be to attach the handle brackets prior to sewing the top zipper section in place. Much easier I do love this bag!! I get so many compliments! And using the brackets for the handles is wonderful. I could, if I wanted, change the handles with ease. Terrific quality! What a great project! Thank you.
Change a few things but love it
This was a fairly easy kit to put together. Once I started it got easier as I moved forward.
Everyone of my friends who sees this purse want one too. Have made 4 so far!
The. bag turned out better than I thought. The outside layer with circles was very easy to do and quick however the inside that included the white plastic where we had to cover with the cotton took a very long time to do during a needle. The project took more than five weeks to complete not like it says in the instructions.. I get a lot of compliments with my back and people do not think that it was handmade.
I loved making this bag and have ordered 2 different ones. I brought it to work and people didn’t believe I had made it. I also had never crocheted before so the videos were amazing to follow and learn
Great easy to follow tutorials. All the materials in the kit. I would prefer a stronger handle so on the next one I will do the double strand option but it is useable. Thoroughly enjoyed making it and will enjoy using it.
