I loved the paper yarn! It was fun to do!
I loved making this bag and once I got used to the yarn, I found it relatively easy, especially as I used the thread from the three skeins at the same time instead of folding the yarn as shown in the instructions.
It is such a lovely bag. Everyone wants one. Very high quality and great instructions.
This bag is gorgeous. Took a little bit of time to get used to the yarn but it turned out amazing 🤩
Had an issue with the leather part of this bag when the box arrived it was damaged and I tried to contact CrochetPark which was difficult to start with so I think this needs to be addressed making it easy to contact the company with any issue.. But after this was resolved I had fun making the bag and I am pleased with the end result. The box is so well presented and everything is supplied to make your bag..
This bag is for my mum for Mothers Day. Instructions are amazing, highly recommend.
It was indeed hard to work with 3 strands, and the hand hurts first 5 to 6 rows, but it's better to use a crochet ring. Instead of the tutorial method, I held 1 strand per ball (as there are 3 balls). Attaching the handle isn't that easy either, but the end product is totally worth it!
Took me a while to get used to the thread and working with 3 strings together but love the end result! Looks elegant and stylish!

This project was harder than the 1st. Finally finished and am very happy with the result.
Material is great, videos explain everything very well. Trying the stitches first and then take it out to start over is a good advice to get familiar with the pattern. The one recommendation I have is to improve the studs: the part with the thread is flat at the end. If that one would be more like a nail, it would be easier to push through the fabric and to align with the opposite stud.
I love the quality of the product. I wish you had two sets of instructions, one for beginners, and one for more experienced crocheters. I am fairly advanced, and the instructions are definitely more for beginners. Not to say that this is an easy project. I found working with the yarn a bit challenging at first, but I've worked with rafia before, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
While the yarn was difficult at first, you have to just slow down and it will come together. Love the final result! It just took me longer than expected to complete the final project
Everything was great, from the ordering and timely delivery to the products included in the kit as well as the instructions. Been working on this bag a little at at time and it is more than 3/4 done. Looking forward to using it this summer.
I didnt do it yet, i’m in middle of doing the beebag, but i so greatly love your package and exact tutorial instructions that i decided to buy another one. I have a a few questions though, the mesh bag from the bee bag, can i crochet it striped through instead of down? Question 2: regarding the urban tote bag could i put on my own zipper?
This is challenging. I'm only into my third row but really like it. Once you learn how to handle the yarn it made it a lot easier to work with. I tend to crochet really tight so have loosened up my stitches which also helped. Will add pictures when I'm done. This might be a while.
Loved the raffia and found it easy to use. Please don’t call the accessories leather as they aren’t. Also please don’t have someone with lots of plasters over her hands doing the demonstrations. Not attractive amd rather off putting.
I have loved working on this bag. It has all the bits you need (and more) to complete it, and the video tutorials are great. It’s also great to spend time on creating something as it slows you down to enjoy a craft
The overall instructions and quality of the product is very good. However, I found it very difficult to work with the yarn and after trying a few times, had to give up and buy different yarn to complete the project. It would be much better to have the right thickness yarn, rather than to have to combine three strands of yarn to make the right thickness - I found this difficult. I am not a beginner, so did not expect this to be such a challenge. The design, instructions and quality of the leather is very good.
Not had an opportunity to start any of the projects yet but I know I will enjoy doing them as I have purchased kits in the past.
A bit frustrated with the 3 yarn strand scenario. Had to give up on it and got different thicker yarn to use instead
Once again, beautiful packaging and everything included. This yarn was a little tricky to start with, but following the instructions regarding how to hold the hook and to not allow the yarn to split, it soon started to come together. Working with three strands became very easy too. As an experienced sewist I found the lining easy and was able to install a zip pocket. This bag is a great addition to my collection. Love it.
Dear Manager The bags and kits are fabulous but I won't be purchasing from you again due to the poor customer service I have received. One of my kits, the black shell pattern Aveline bag, the lining was missing from the kit. I did write to customer services and asked for a lining to be sent to complete this bag and was offered a poxy 10% discount on my next purchase/order. Then i had 1853 points to use so went to choose another order to use my poxy 10% discount, which doesn't help me to complete the black bag, and a 1000 points have disappeared from my rewards.; Again i messaged customer services regarding this and asked for them to look at it and i haven't used them and you can see that from the purchases i have made, and i have made a lot of purchases from you recently, only to be told we have added a few points back for you, no where near the amount i have lost that i have earnt through my purchases from you. So no, I won't be recommending you and I won't be purchasing any more goods from you. I feel that my custom doesn't matter to you. It must be lovely to be doing so well that you don't have to look after the good reliable returning ones like me. If you do wish to keep me as a customer then please make me feel like a good customer you want to keep, restore my points that have been stolen and not used by myself, and send me a lining tomy black bag i make these to sell and as gifts but i can't complete that one so i can't sell it or gift it. If i don't feel you have treated me fairly or just dont care then i will take my business elsewhere where my custom is wanted and appreciated with regards Sarah Charles
I have crocheted five purses so far and love them all. The tutorials are wonderful and the quality of the materials is beautiful! I made four for Christmas gifts and they loved them!
It was very difficult, the yarn was very hard to work with as well. I couldn’t complete the project, I gave up. My thought was - this is supposed to be fun. This was not for me, at all. I’ve completed many Woobles crochet projects, hats, scarves, blankets, etc. and this was just plain hard.
Having to triple the yarn made this very difficult, prone to splitting and very slow going. In terms of support, it took days to get annswers that weren't very helpful and I found that the person giving support wasn't understanding my straightforward question. This is my second Crochet Park project. The first one came out gorgeous. I was extremely pleased. I am a very experienced crocheter, but I found this project far more challenging than was indicated. Additionally, the box came very damaged.
Bought for wife for Christmas, she absolutely loves it. Top quality product and great gift packaging.
May be next on my list but have so many WIP's st the moment, it may be a while.
Lovely kit - far nicer quality than I was expecting from something ordered remotely. I order two different styles of bag and the Tote bag is a lot more time consuming, but will look great when it's done.
It was a very easy pattern. I really like the instructional videos.
Great product, everything needed is included in the kit
I am not a noice crocheter. This material is awful. Having 3 strands at once and not snagging 1 is a nightmare. Crochet it too loose? You snag the prior row. Too tight? Then you can’t get the hook through. Maybe I got a bad batch but having 3 strands of material that is made up in itself with 6 strands is a recipe for disaster. I gave up and bought twine to make my bag because the provided yarn was too insane to deal with. I have 2 other bags that were ordered and shipped separate. I hope it’s not the same awfulness.
The kit is missing all of the items to make the bag. I am very disappointed!!
